Your local community pharmacy can now help & prescribe for 7 common illnesses under the Pharmacy First scheme. The consultation service enables patients to be referred into community pharmacy for a minor illness or an urgent repeat medicine supply.

Shingles | 18 years and over |
Sinusitis | 12 years and over |
Sore throat | 5 years and over |
Uncomplicated urinary tract infections | Women 16-64 years |
You are able to walk into your local pharmacy for one of the above conditions, however, often the quickest way for your to access this service is by contacting Reception on 01244 346677 and they can generate a referral to a local pharmacy of your choice.
Once the referral has been generated by the practice you should contact that chosen pharmacy and advise them that your practice has sent a referral over for treatment of your condition.
