CORONAVIRUS UPDATE:

Following Government guidelines ALL patients visiting the practice will be asked to wear a face covering. If you present at the practice without a face covering we will have to send you away .

Face coverings are not only to protect yourself but also the safety of other patients as well as our Doctors, Nurses & other staff members.

We thought this handy government link on ways you can make your own face coverings would be helpful; they don’t have to be a surgical masks.

After 7 days of self-isolation, if you feel better and no longer have a high temperature you can return to your normal routine. If you have not had any signs of improvement after 7 days and have not already sought medical advice, you should use NHS111 online (you should only call NHS111 if you cannot get online) before you leave your home or let visitors in.

Cough may persist for several weeks in some people, despite the coronavirus infection having cleared. A persistent cough alone does not mean that you must continue to stay at home for more than 7 days.

Extended Hours

Patient Access: When you request to book appointments online a print off with your log in details is generated and left for collection at the front desk. If you haven't received your log in details yet, why not ask the receptionist when you next visit the surgery!

  • some user inserted video streams do not have captions
  • functionality inserted into the website via iframes by the user may not achieve accessibility guidelines

Audio Captions

YouTube fails to show audio descriptions as default. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.2.5 (Audio Description).

The information is from third party software and added via an iframe on to our site. There is a setting option to turn on audio description via the video.

How we tested this website

This website was last tested on 16th September 2020. The test was carried out by My Surgery Website. We tested the site using the Chrome extension application WAVE. The website also went under manual testing.
